Service Description

May-September this will be floating on a raft in our heated pool. October- April will be held in dome. Class will differ by the week using different style of meditations based on the moon cycle. You will also learn how to work with the moon cycles. Sound Bath is waves of soothing, echoing sound from traditional wind and percussion instruments, also known as a “sound bath,” may help with stress, fatigue, and depression symptoms. Since stress is associated with other conditions like diabetes and heart disease, engaging in sound baths might be a good preventive strategy to reduce the risk of chronic conditions, too. Research into this subject is limited, but there have been studies that indicate a sound bath may improve your mood and release tension in your body, among other things. Sound baths aren’t a replacement for proven treatments, but they can be considered a low-risk complement to any other methods you’ve been exploring with your doctor. We will use Nidra Meditation which is yogic sleep in modern usage is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, with guided meditation & sound therapy. Yoga Nidra can be practiced by anyone. It holds immense benefits for all those who struggle to let go or suffer from lack of sleep, trauma, burn-out, and even anxiety. Yoga Nidra literally means "yogic sleep". It is an ancient meditation technique where practitioners enter a deeper state of conscious relaxation, moving awareness from the external world to the internal. Yogic sleep brings us to a state of deep relaxation, verging on sleep, where our senses, intellect, and mind can completely let go and rest. In this dreamless sleep, we are free from the concepts of time, space and reason. When this happens, brain activity reduces and the body goes into a healing state, removing toxins at a cellular level, refreshing the mind, and eliminating emotional baggage from the subconscious. As a result, one hour of this psychic slumber is said to give the same benefit as four hours of sleep. *Feel free to bring your own matt, meditation cushions, blankets, bolster etc.. **Summer time raft/floatation provided. If inclement weather you will receive a class credit. *Journal and water bottle. Stay Hydrated! *We do have some props on site. ***Preregistration 1 hour prior to class.

Cancellation Policy

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class your appointment start time. We require 24-hour cancellation notice prior to your scheduled class or appointment for refund (10% processing fee will be withheld from refund). If you cancel within the 24 hours of scheduled class or appointment, there will be no refund issued. If you have a discounted pass one class/appointment will be taken off.
