Service Description

The class begins with a brief on-land paddle and safety instruction. We’ll take a short paddle to warm up as well as to get accustomed to the movement and balance of the board. Next, we’ll clip each board to the namastation and begin the class on Lake of the Ozarks. There will be options for beginners as well as more challenging options for those with a bit more experience. Stand Up Paddle Board (SUP) Yoga, also known as paddle board yoga, takes traditional yoga to the water. This unique form of fitness involves practicing yoga poses on a stand-up paddleboard rather than a mat. The added challenge is balancing on the board while it floats in calm bodies of water like lakes, rivers or swimming pools. The beauty of SUP Yoga lies not only in exercising your stabilizing muscles but also improving proprioception – your body’s awareness of its position and movement. It’s an exciting blend of focus, strength and balance where every stretch becomes an adventure. From beginner-friendly moves such as Easy Pose and Child’s pose to more advanced stances like Warrior I or Full Wheel – there’s always room for growth and development in this fun outdoor activity! All equipment is included. **Preregistration required 1 hour prior to class.

Cancellation Policy

Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class or appointment start time. We require 24-hour cancellation notice prior to your scheduled class or appointment for refund (10% processing fee will be withheld from refund). If you cancel within the 24 hours of scheduled class or appointment, there will be no refund issued. If you have a discounted pass one class/appointment will be taken off. For SUP classes In the event of bad weather class will be held in our tropical yoga dome or rescheduled.
